The Boy
If I were a boy, I'd take a hike.
I'd find a baseball cap and pull it over my eyes,
Let the sun shine bright, cover my face,
Make sure you couldn't see me.
If I were a boy, I'd get a move on.
I'd sit across the room, shift my body away,
Keep the distance between us,
Make sure you couldn't get near me.
If I were a boy, I'd run away.
I'd pack my bags, bid my farewells,
Cover my tracks. Rest assured, you couldn't find me.
