Desiree worked as a technical analyst for a Fortune
500 company for nearly 20 years, before returning to
college as a full-time student at Citrus College. She
began writing as a young girl. However, marriage,
family, and her career left her little time to devote
to this lost passion. She began writing again after a
series of life changing events lead her back to school
and ultimately her love of writing. Desiree loves
writing poetry and short stories about her life
experiences. She hopes that she will soon be able to
publish her work and looks forward to a new career as
a writer and journalist.
