What with the obviousness of the subject’s
Empty rewards
Why do I smoke:
I smoke because I am
Most defiantly flawed
Im tamed by standard living
My talons have been de-clawed
I smoke because I am but
Another human being
With the mass not blessed with sight
And nothing beautiful worth seeing
I smoke because the smoke goes
Wherever it does please
I smoke because im angry
With metaphoric ticks and fleas
I inhale a solid breath of
Monoxide and despair
I smoke because im stupid
And ill equipped to care
