Smile

Smile thee now,
all ye selfish.
Trust in now
where thy wealth is.
Choose thee wisely,
and remember that death finds ye.
But through the night keep on a light
to hide the fears with which you fight.
To deny that which makes you sick
Water to loosen the pill that doth stick.
Point and laugh,
choke and hack,
Define the weak,
and shame the meek.
for When the day of judgment comes to thee,
you shall not have wings with which to flee.
So take with thee,
all ye sinners,
too thy grave,
your smiles and fancy clocks
to count the time till you descend
to where the devil walks,
and greet him with your pearly whites,
right before he darks the lights.
