Lonely World Aaron Pelletier We find ourselves living in this lonely world
Of plastic and concrete
We often forget
That there is natural life
Beyond the tall buildings
Temporarily sheltered from the machines
And the contract demolition teams
There stands the last great retreat
The final sanctuary of peace
The only place for you to be truly free
Harmoniously
As it was meant to be

There is peace beyond this lonely world
But you must first let go of everything
That pulls you down
And you must be willing to drown
Within the magnificence of nature’s tranquility

Always remember what was intended
And always remember what harm has come from modern invention
The good will never counteract the bad
As long as man only cares for man
In this our lonely world
